Find a friendly key when learning an instrument part 2

Hi everyone! I would like to continue the discussion of finding a friendly key for the instrument you’re learning. Earlier, I covered friendly keys for piano. Playing chords are an important part when learning string instruments. So when giving a guitar lesson, I want to find keys that use chords that are easier to play. I like these keys for guitar: G,D and A. For banjo, my favorite keys are G and D. When giving a ukulele lesson and a mandolin lesson I like the keys of C and G to start.

When learning violin and bass guitar, scales are more important than chord shapes. I like the D, A and G scales for violin and G and C for bass guitar. Hope this helps. Keep practicing and have fun!
